How musictechsummit.se handles personal data and cookies – from registering for the conference to visitor statistics.

Data controller

Brewhouse Göteborg, Åvägen 24, 412 51 Göteborg, Sweden, which runs Music Tech Summit within the Tune In West project. Questions about personal data: hello@musictechsummit.se.

Cookies and statistics

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM-THZMB4KG) to measure how the website is used and how well our marketing works. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.

The website sends no personal data to the statistics – only events such as a registration step being shown or a registration being completed, without names or email addresses.

Fonts from Google

The typefaces load from Google Fonts. When the page fetches them, your IP address and browser details are sent to Google, which needs them to deliver the file.

Registering for the conference

When you register we process: name, email, phone, workplace and role, invoicing address, which days you attend, meals and any dietary requirements, and whether you have a company. With a company you give its organisation number; without one you give your personal identity number.

The data is used to administer your registration and nothing else: the attendee list, catering numbers, practical information about the conference and – only if it applies – the 1,200 SEK no-show invoice. It is not sold, not shared with third parties and not used for marketing.

Legal basis: contract – your registration and the terms you accept in the form.

The contact form

When you write to us we process your name, email, organisation (optional) and message, so that we can reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Services we use

  • Vercel – hosts the website and the forms' server. Technical logs are kept for a short period for operation and security.
  • Monday.com – where registrations and messages are stored so the team can handle them.
  • Resend – sends the confirmation emails.
  • Sanity – the website's content (programme, speakers). No visitor data is stored there.
  • Google – Tag Manager, statistics and fonts.

Some providers are based in the USA. Transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep data

  • Personal identity and organisation numbers are deleted once invoicing is complete.
  • Other registration data is deleted when the Tune In West project ends.
  • Messages from the contact form are kept for at most 24 months after the matter is closed.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing and to object to it. To cancel or change your registration, contact hello@musictechsummit.se. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
