YoJuliet

YoJuliet

Film music duo – Julia Sandwall and Yohanna Eek Björnulfson

Performing at Pustervik, 24 Nov

A living soundscape takes shape. With strings, voice and percussion, YoJuliet create an intimate, evocative concert in which the music slowly builds in layers of sound and loops.

Their expression moves between the fragile and the powerful – a weave of voices and instruments that opens inner images and lets the audience sink into a meditative, almost cinematic flow. Every note carries a story, and the room turns into a musical universe where time and place dissolve.

YoJuliet is a Swedish film music duo: string player and pianist Julia Sandwall and percussionist and singer Yohanna Eek Björnulfson. Known for atmospheric live performances in unique spaces, they tour internationally and create music for film and the performing arts. They have made a name for themselves as silent film musicians through their score and live performances for the film Gösta Berlings saga.
